District 21 Membership Contest
Fellow Toastmasters,
Happy New Year! May 2010 bring us an abundance of growth opportunities and may your club be strong and fit. We are introducing a new District membership building contest to bring out the champion in you and bring your club to new heights.
The contest runs January 1 to June 15 and we invite your club to take part in the District membership building contest – Up and Up! Your club may be one of the lucky winners of a $50 gift certificate to spend in the District bookstore. The Government of BC will issue a proclamation to declare the first week of February as Toastmasters week across the province! Schedule an open house in February to celebrate Toastmasters week and conduct ongoing membership drives to promote your club, gain new members and be on the Up and UP!

Contest Rules:
· The new members may be new, dual or reinstated but all new members’ applications must be sent to Toastmasters International by the end of March (for Round 1) and by June 15 (for Round 2).
· Three prizes will be drawn in each round. The winners will be announced by mid-April (Round 1) and by end of June (Round 2).
· *This section is intended for clubs with low membership (12 or fewer members) and to encourage and recognize them for gaining momentum. As of January 1, if your club has 12 or fewer members, we invite you to take part in this contest.
